Thai Sardines Dip
Ingredient :

small green peppers 5 Pieces (Choose the ones that are not yet mature)

Sardines in Ayam Tomato Sauce 155 gram 1 can

large green peppers 5 Piece

Onions (not peeled) 5 child

Garlic (not peeled) 12 Piece

small eggplant 1 child

fish sauce 1 Tablespoon

lemon juice 2 Tablespoon

coconut sugar 1 Tablespoon

onion 1 Tablespoon

Method :

set oven temperature 180 degrees Celsius, large green peppers Whole onions, garlic, tomatoes and eggplants are roasted until browned (approx. 7 minutes) Let it cool and then peel it off.

Put the tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and onions in a mortar. Pound all the ingredients together.

Add sardines and garlic. Pound all of them thoroughly and homogenously to get a good chili paste.

After getting the chili paste Put them in a bowl and season with fish sauce. Lemon juice and coconut sugar mix all together keep stirring until the sugar dissolves.

This sardine chili paste can be paired with a variety of other dishes such as rice crackers, kapo (Malay snacks), crispy rice snacks, steamed rice, fried rice, and steamed fish and vegetables as well.
