Ingredient :

  • Sardines in Ayam Tomato Sauce 155 gram 1 can

  • large green peppers 5 Piece

  • Onions (not peeled) 5 child

  • Garlic (not peeled) 12 Piece

  • tomato 3 child

  • small eggplant 1 child

  • fish sauce 1 Tablespoon

  • lemon juice 2 Tablespoon

  • coconut sugar 1 Tablespoon

  • onion 1 Tablespoon

  • Sliced ​​Chili

 

Method :

  1. set oven temperature 180 degrees Celsius, large green peppers Whole onions, garlic, tomatoes and eggplants are roasted until browned (approx. 7 minutes) Let it cool and then peel it off.

  2. Put the tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and onions in a mortar. Pound all the ingredients together.

  3. Add sardines and garlic. Pound all of them thoroughly and homogenously to get a good chili paste.

  4. After getting the chili paste Put them in a bowl and season with fish sauce. Lemon juice and coconut sugar mix all together keep stirring until the sugar dissolves.

  5. for a more appetizing taste and color Garnish with onions and cilantro.

  6. This sardine chili paste can be paired with a variety of other dishes such as rice crackers, kapo (Malay snacks), crispy rice snacks, steamed rice, fried rice, and steamed fish and vegetables as well.
